Powering Enfuce's global growth with a new Craft website

Enfuce

A bespoke, high-performance website built for a global payments business

Enfuce is a global card issuing and payment processing platform, trusted by banks and fintechs to launch and scale their own card programmes. The business has grown rapidly in recent years, expanding its customer base across multiple markets - but its website hadn't kept pace. Unfold was brought in to build a platform that reflected the maturity, scale and technical credibility of the business today.

With Enfuce's brand refresh from partner agency Rooster Punk complete, our job was to turn that new identity into an enterprise-grade website. It needed to be fast, bespoke, and built to handle the volume and variety of content a global company produces across multiple markets and languages, while giving the Enfuce team a CMS that's easy to run day to day.

Challenges

  • Translating a newly refreshed brand identity into a complete website experience.
  • Structuring content for an enterprise-level audience: banks, fintechs, partners and prospects across multiple markets, each looking for something different.
  • Handling a wide range of content types (press releases, blog posts, webinars, podcasts) alongside customer and partner stories, without the site becoming cluttered or hard to navigate.
  • Needing a platform that’s fast and bespoke enough for an enterprise brand, but still easy for the Enfuce team to manage without relying on developers for every change.
  • Building on foundations that could support future growth, including localisation into French and Italian.

Outcomes

  • A bespoke, lightning-fast website built on Craft CMS, tailored to Enfuce’s exact content structure requirements.
  • A clear, agreed sitemap developed through a dedicated user-journey mapping workshop with the Enfuce team, giving every audience a clear path through the site.
  • An ongoing partnership beyond launch, with Unfold supporting Enfuce on analytics, performance and continuous improvement, as well as day-to-day maintenance.

01

Defining the user journeys

Our first job was to turn Enfuce’s proposition, services and content into a structure that the whole site could be built around.

By working closely with their product marketing team and subject matter experts from each service offering, we built a structure for the new website. This work culminated in a user journey workshop in London, where we mapped out the different audiences the site needed to serve, the content types required and how it should all fit together to deliver the best experience.

02

UX design, site structure and UI design

Working from the new sitemap and user journeys, the UX phase was about function rather than finish. We designed low-fidelity wireframes which could be quickly changed and evolved to deliver the best experience for visitors.

With the structure and modules in place, the UI phase brought in Enfuce’s new brand identity including colour, type, imagery and the finer details that give the site its character.

The aim here was consistency across every module, so the site feels cohesive wherever someone lands, while still reflecting Enfuce’s position as a serious, established player in the payments space.

Modular by design Every page is built from a shared set of modules, giving Enfuce the flexibility to rework content as their needs evolve
03

A bespoke Craft CMS build

We built the new site on Craft CMS rather than WordPress, a deliberate choice for a project of this scale and complexity. Craft gave us a bespoke, lightning-fast framework, with every content type and field built around Enfuce’s specific requirements. That means a cleaner, faster site for visitors, and a CMS that’s intuitive for the Enfuce team to manage without needing a developer for every change.

As part of the build we developed a custom facets and filtering system, so a large and growing library of resources, stories and insights stays easy to search and navigate as the site scales.

04

Launch and ongoing partnership

The new site launched in August 2026 and we’re continuing to work together as an ongoing partner, looking at analytics, performance and further improvements to the site, alongside day-to-day maintenance.
